Neighborhood Pole Banners ~ Submit your design now for the new North Tabor banner project. North Tabor’s Identity Project was selected for a SE Uplift Small Grant. This project will build identity and a sense of place for the North Tabor neighborhood by placing 20 full-color pole banners throughout the neighborhood that will feature the selected artwork of a talented North Tabor neighbor.
Everyone is welcome to submit a design for these banners. There are a few small guidelines, and then let the creative juices flow!
The guidelines are:
- The words “North Tabor Neighborhood” must be prominent in the design.
- The design should be proportionate to the final size, which is 48” x 24” (vertical). Whatever size is submitted, it should be twice as tall as it is wide (example: 5 x 10, 10 x 20)
- Designs can be electronically sent to: sustainability@northtabor.org or brought to the February 21 or March 20 meeting.
- Include your name and contact info with your submission.
- The final deadline for design submissions is April 1, 2012.
Designs will be judged during the first two weeks of April. The final design winner will be announced in the May/June newsletter and at the April 17th North Tabor meeting.
